Job description

Quality Control Inspector

DynaIndustrial is a Saskatchewan-based engineering and manufacturing company with a global customer base and a long-standing reputation for delivering quality products and services to the mining, steel, pipe mill, and oil & gas industries. We specialize in custom design-build projects, heavy industrial equipment repair, and medium-volume manufacturing, with safety and quality at the core of everything we do.

We are currently seeking an experienced Quality Control Inspector to join our Regina team.

This position plays a critical role in ensuring that every component, assembly, and project leaving our facility meets the quality standards expected by our customers. Working closely with production, project management, and customers, you will help maintain the reputation DynaIndustrial has built over decades of delivering quality workmanship and reliable solutions.

If you are organized, detail-oriented, technically minded, and take pride in doing things right the first time, we would like to hear from you.

Key Responsibilities

  • Inspect incoming materials, components, and fabricated assemblies to verify compliance with specifications and quality requirements.
  • Perform dimensional inspections and verify workmanship throughout the manufacturing and repair process.
  • Conduct and document inspections, tests, measurements, and quality verification activities.
  • Coordinate third-party inspections, NDE services, coatings, heat treatment, logistics, and other outside processes.
  • Collaborate with Shop Managers, Production Management, Project Management, and customers to ensure quality requirements are clearly understood and achieved.
  • Review drawings, specifications, inspection requirements, and customer documentation packages.
  • Prepare and maintain quality records, inspection reports, and turnover documentation.
  • Compile and manage customer quality documentation packages and manufacturing records.
  • Participate in root cause investigations and support corrective action initiatives.
  • Assist in maintaining and improving DynaIndustrial's Quality Management System.
  • Promote a culture of quality, continuous improvement, and attention to detail throughout the organization.

Qualifications

  • Experience in quality control, quality assurance, manufacturing, fabrication, machining, welding, or industrial equipment repair.
  • Strong understanding of inspection methods, measuring equipment, and manufacturing processes.
  • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, welding symbols, and technical specifications.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, and Outlook.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to build positive working relationships with customers, suppliers, and internal teams.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
  • Quality Assurance, Quality Control, CWB, NDE, or related certifications are considered strong assets.

What Success Looks Like

The successful candidate will:

  • Ensure products consistently meet customer specifications and quality expectations.
  • Maintain accurate and complete inspection and quality documentation.
  • Build strong relationships with production teams while upholding quality standards.
  • Coordinate outside vendors and inspections efficiently.
  • Help drive continuous improvement throughout the organization.
  • Take ownership of quality outcomes and support operational excellence.

Why Join DynaIndustrial?

  • Competitive compensation package
  • Matching RRSP contribution program
  • Comprehensive benefits package
  • Regular performance and development discussions
  • Opportunities for advancement and professional growth
  • Work-life balance focused culture
  • Employee engagement and job satisfaction initiatives
  • Team-oriented environment
  • Stable Saskatchewan-owned company with over 50 years of success
