Job description

Operate a boom truck in Cumberland, BC, using a Class 1 licence and Level A crane ticket to deliver building materials safely. Monday to Friday shifts run from 6:30 a.m. to 3 p.m.

This Boom Truck Operator transports products to construction sites and places materials in requested work locations. The work includes boom or mobile crane operation, drywall handling, customer communication, and dispatch coordination. A minimum of one year of Level A crane experience is required.

Key Responsibilities:

Complete pre-trip inspections and report maintenance needs
Load, unload, and carry heavy drywall sheets manually
Operate the boom or mobile crane safely
Verify load security, accuracy, and truck cleanliness
Deliver materials and communicate with site customers

Requirements:

Valid Class 1 licence with air brakes endorsement
Level A crane ticket and one year experience
Practical written and oral communication skills
Ability to lift and carry up to 100 pounds
Ability to drive, climb, bend, push, and pull frequently
