Job Responsibilities
- Provide security for the safety and protection of patients, staff, the general public, and property.
- Patrol buildings and grounds periodically.
- Examine doors, windows, and entry points to ensure security; record and tag unsecured points.
- Warn violators of infractions such as loitering, smoking, or carrying forbidden items; apprehend or expel suspicious or criminal persons.
- Report irregularities like fire hazards or unlocked doors.
- Observe departing personnel to prevent theft.
- Record incidents, property damage, and suspicious activities.
- Assist local authorities with investigations.
- Report criminal acts to supervisors or authorities.
- Support hospital staff in ensuring safety.
- Follow all security orders and protocols.
Qualifications
Education : High school diploma or GED required.
