Our team of professionals helps our clients manage risk so they can focus on their core business. Our Victoria office is seeking Senior Accountants for the Private Enterprise Sector. As a Senior Accountant, you will be required to apply KPMG's audit and accounting practices and methodologies at client engagements.

What you will do
Conduct external and internal financial statement audits for private companies including leadership of field engagement teams as well as coaching and mentoring junior staff. You will also develop and maintain relationships with client management.

  • Perform analysis of complex accounting issues

As an Audit professional, you will provide a service that represents a high-value mark for our firm, helping companies assess their risk as they work to ensure transparency across their operations.

What you bring to the role
  • Undergraduate degree in Accounting, or Business related field
  • Successful completion of the CFE or working towards a CPA designation
  • 2 - 3 years post graduate experience with a public accounting firm
  • Ability to work both independently, with little supervision and within a team environment
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills and are a strong team player
  • Meticulous attention to detail, organization and planning skills

KPMG BC Region Pay Range Information
The expected base salary range for this position is $53,500 to $82,000 and may be eligible for bonus awards. The determination of an applicant's base salary within this range is based on the individual's location, skills, & competencies, and unique qualifications. In addition, KPMG offers a comprehensive and competitive Total Rewards program.
