Elementary Head Custodian
Location : W. Earle Miller Public School
Start date : As soon as possible
Vacancy Details : 1.0 (Temporary / full-time, 40 hours / week, 7 : 00am to 3 : 00pm)
Position Summary :
Organize and supervise custodial staff cleaning areas, perform routine cleaning and other related tasks in order to maintain a safe, clean and healthy environment for students, staff and visitors.
Requirements :
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Computer skills (e-mail, data entry, online work orders)
- Must have current, Board approved, MHMIS certificate
- Experience in custodial work is preferred
- Read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, procedure manuals, product directions and mixing ratios
- Work cooperatively and effectively with other staff and supervisors
- Understand and carry out oral and written instructions
- Use cleaning materials and equipment with skill and efficiency
- Perform medium to heavy physical labor
- Meet deadlines with time constraints
Supervisory Duties :
Salary : As per the current CUPE collective agreement.
