We provide a unique way to experience an expanded clinical scope of practice while enjoying an adventure at the same time! Average assignment durations vary from 2 to 4 weeks.
The work you will do :
- Work in a team atmosphere within an expanded scope of practice providing healthcare services to pre-natal and adult patients for trauma and primary care, including delivery of newborns, treating minor acute illnesses and injuries, and conducting general treatment clinics
- Utilize the skills of observation, assessment, nursing diagnosis, counseling, and health teaching according to care plan
- Ensure that, on an ongoing basis, the emotional, spiritual, physical comfort and safety of clients are met to the greatest possible extent within the scope of practice
