Job description
Overview
This position is a part of the Non-Academic Staff Association (NASA). This position has an end date of March 31, 2026, with the possibility of extension. Location - This role is in-person at North Campus Edmonton. The Meharali Research Group is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Research Assistant (RA) to support a newly funded research project focused on the pilot testing of a mobile app aimed at supporting immigrant adolescents in Alberta. The RA will work closely with the Principal Investigator (PI) and research team to assess the app’s effectiveness through both qualitative and quantitative methods. The successful candidate will play a key role in participant recruitment, intervention implementation, data collection and analysis, and research dissemination. This is an excellent opportunity for a researcher interested in public health, youth development, digital interventions, or immigrant health.
Responsibilities
- Support a newly funded research project focused on pilot testing of a mobile app aimed at supporting immigrant adolescents in Alberta.
