  • Education : Earned doctorate degree
  • Experience : 2 years to less than 3 years
  • Tasks

    • Conduct program evaluations
    • Supervise graduate students, research assistants, para-professional staff and other psychologists
    • Use standard psychological tests for assessment
    • Provide therapy
    • Apply psychological theory and principles regarding behaviour and mental processes
    • Maintain accurate records
    • Conduct research
    • Publish research papers, educational texts and articles
    • Provide consultation services to government and other organizations
    • Administer standard psychological tests for assessment
    • Interpret test results
    • Help clients manage physical illness and disorders
    • Certificates, licences, memberships, and courses

    • Provincial or territorial Psychologist's Certificate of Registration
    • Transportation / travel information
