Job descriptionA minimum Level 3 qualification in an engineering discipline. Electrical certifications and strong fault-finding skills. Experience working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. The ability to work efficiently under pressure and think creatively to solve problems. Knowledge of maintaining and fault-finding on PLC systems. A competitive salary of up to £51,000. The Role
As a key part of the maintenance team, you will be responsible for :
- Responding to breakdowns (electrical and mechanical) quickly and effectively.
- Carrying out servicing and general upkeep on a range of manufacturing equipment.
- Ensuring compliance with site standards, processes, and quality systems.
- Fault finding on PLC systems (programming knowledge is an advantage).
- Conducting installation work, including modifying existing equipment and installing new machinery.
