A typical day begins with supporting Site Supervisors by managing contract administration and ensuring all contractual obligations are accurately tracked. Early on, I set up and operate GPS instruments to complete layout work and capture precise as‑built data for roads, pipes, utilities, conduits, and excavation areas. Throughout the day, I collect, organize, and record geographic information while helping prepare drawings, charts, plans, and project documents. I maintain detailed records of measurements and survey data, ensuring everything is organized and easy to reference. Alongside field tasks, I facilitate daily payroll entry and assist with cost tracking and scheduling to keep the project on track. I consistently follow company policies and procedures, complete various administrative duties as needed, and attend project‑related meetings to stay aligned with team goals. When required, I also support the team with general labour to ensure work progresses smoothly and safely.
