MatchBox Consulting Group is seeking a skilled Project Manager to join our client, a fast-growing structural engineering and construction firm based in Abbotsford, BC specializing in innovative timber structures that integrate steel, glass, concrete, and other materials. In this role you will lead timber construction projects across North America, interface directly with clients, coordinate internal teams, and ensure projects are delivered safely, on time, and on budget.

Key Responsibilities:
- Lead timber construction projects from award through completion
- Ensure safety, quality, cost, and schedule objectives are met
- Define tasks, allocate resources, and manage teams
- Prepare and manage project budgets, progress billing, change orders, and schedules
- Review project scope and contracts to ensure compliance
- Prepare RFQs, evaluate bids, manage POs and subcontracts
- Track project deliverables, report on progress, and provide onsite support
- Manage project changes and delays, ensuring fair compensation
- Conduct project evaluations and provide management with insights
Skills and Qualifications:
- Minimum 3 years of construction project management experience
- Strong organizational, planning, and time management skills
- Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication
- Proficiency in Word, Excel, Procore, and MS Project (or similar scheduling software)
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Bachelor’s degree in Building Science, Construction Management, or Engineering
- PMP designation or in-progress is an asset
- Experience managing projects valued over $5M is an asset
