Job description :
With over 50 years of experience in the construction sector, our client, one of the largest private companies in North America, is seeking an experienced project manager to work on a prestigious project on Montreal's North Shore.
Main responsibilities :
- Collaborate with all departments involved in the project.
- Participate in developing the bidding strategy, manage the process, negotiate and draft contracts, plan supplier visits.
- Coordinate team activities, including the superintendent and support staff.
- Work with designers, architects, and engineers to prepare plans and specifications.
- Prioritize tasks to meet budget, schedule, and design document requirements.
- Review and approve purchase orders, change orders, and assist with invoice coding.
- Review and approve forecasts, schedules, cost estimates, and financial reports, inform the owner of any deviations.
- Oversee and submit the final project report, close out subcontractor contracts.
- Perform additional tasks as needed to complete the project successfully.
