Job description3+ years of project management and estimating experience in construction / electrical technologies. Solid knowledge of security systems, including access control, CCTV, and intrusion detection. Trades qualification and / or electrical TQ is an asset. Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook). Knowledge of Procore and Accubid is an asset. Strong communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills; able to interact with project stakeholders, other project managers / estimators, field team, and office support team. Strong organization and time‑management skills. Competitive salary : $85,000–$100,000 per year plus a total compensation package. Flexible work schedule and competitive vacation policy. Overview
Project Manager / Estimator – Security Technologies – Victoria, BC
A Project Manager / Estimator is needed to design and deliver complex security systems for critical infrastructure, including police stations, hospitals, hydroelectric dams, and other safety‑critical facilities across British Columbia.
Responsibilities
- Maintain strong relationships with suppliers, consultants, general contractors, and end users.
- Manage all project areas including contract management, financials, schedules, labor requirements, materials, deficiencies, and change orders.
- Perform cost estimating, change management, and submit tenders.
- Complete required billing paperwork and ensure timely payment.
- Review project reports and provide analytics to the project team.
- Coordinate project manual completion and submit as‑built drawings to the owner.
- Report to the Operations Manager and work closely with the field team and office support (coordinators, designers, technicians, accounting) to achieve project performance, budget, and schedule targets.
