CDI (Construction Drilling Inc.), a division of NorLand Limited, is a drilling contractor and drill equipment rental company based in Duncan, BC. CDI is looking for a team member to fill the position of Estimator reporting to the Pre-Construction Manager. This is an exciting opportunity to learn and work on a wide range of complex and unique heavy civil infrastructure competitive tenders.

Key Accountabilities :

• Work with the estimating team to access, assess, estimate and submit complete proposals for drilling and foundation scopes.
• Access client documents, download to proper locations and keep in organized fashion.
• Maintain an accurate compilation of RFP addendums.
• Review plans & specifications to determine scope of work and to define project requirements.
• Complete quantity takeoffs.
• Work with estimating team to establish a plan for developing the estimate.
• Secure subcontract and material tenders for inclusion in the estimate.
• Identify possible project risks.
• Work in collaboration with partners on joint venture major project pursuits (request for qualifications and request for proposals).

Qualifications :

Expected salary range : $70K – $80K (dependent on internal parity and candidate’s skill, qualification, and experience relevant to the role).
