Accounting Analyst – 2 Month Contract

The Accounting Analyst supports accurate financial reporting, analysis, and compliance by preparing journal entries, reconciling accounts, and analyzing financial data. This role bridges accounting and financial analysis, helping management make informed business decisions.

About the Opportunity

• Prepare and post monthly journal entries

Perform balance sheet and income statement reconciliations

Analyze financial data to identify trends, variances, and anomalies

Support month-end and year-end close processes

Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and financial modeling

Prepare internal financial reports and dashboards

Support external and internal audits by providing documentation and explanations

Improve accounting processes and automation initiatives

Collaborate with FP&A, operations, and other cross-functional teams

About You

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field

2–5 years of relevant accounting or financial analysis experience

CPA designation or progress toward CPA preferred

Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUP / XLOOKUP, formulas)

Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills

Excellent attention to detail and communication skills

Pay Rate

$50.00 / Hour
