Position Overview : We are seeking a motivated and experienced SR Production Supervisor to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3 years of experience in a manufacturing environment, with strong technical skills, problem-solving abilities, and proficiency in Microsoft Excel. The Production Supervisor will be responsible for overseeing daily operations, managing production teams, ensuring quality standards, troubleshooting issues, and maintaining efficient workflows. Key Responsibilities : Supervise and lead a team of production operators to ensure the safe, efficient, and high-quality manufacturing of products. Coordinate daily production schedules and monitor workflow to meet production targets. Troubleshoot production issues, identify root causes, and implement corrective actions to minimize downtime. Ensure compliance with company policies, safety regulations, and industry standards. Work in conjunction with the maintenance department, assisting in performing routine inspections and addressing maintenance needs. Review production reports and metrics; provide feedback and recommendations for improvement to enhance productivity and efficiency. Collaborate with other departments, such as quality control, maintenance, and logistics, to ensure smooth production operations. Train, mentor, and evaluate team members to improve skills and performance. Utilize Microsoft Excel to generate reports, track production data, and perform analysis on key performance indicators (KPIs). Maintain a clean and organized work environment, ensuring adherence to safety and quality standards. Qualifications : Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Production Supervisor or in a similar role within a manufacturing environment. Strong technical skills with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve mechanical and process issues. Proficient in Microsoft Excel, including data analysis, reporting, and creating production schedules. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to interact effectively with team members and management. Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate, train, and develop a team. A knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or other continuous improvement methodologies is a plus. Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment while maintaining attention to detail. Physical Requirements : Ability to stand, walk, and move around the production floor for extended periods. Occasional lifting of up to [weight limit, e.g., 30 pounds].
