Simply put, we are for those who want to challenge the status quo with the relentless pursuit to see what no one else sees.What we are looking for : The Production Artist reports directly to the Head of Print Production. Your primary function is to work closely with the Head of Print Production with correspondence with creative teams to provide production and design services, being conscious of the details and preparing final files accordingly. Your flexible attitude reflects a willingness to do whatever it takes to get the job done, anticipate change, risk and escalate as required. You’re driven, enthusiastic, agile, flexible and experienced - accustomed to working in a customer focused, fast-paced environment. Your multitasking ability is comparable to juggling with your eyes closed and your good judgment enables you to determine handling of projects, situations, suppliers and internal relationships.Responsibilities : Produce print-ready final files based on supplied creative materials including expertise in Out of Home specifications and image resolutions.Image retouching - retouch images to enhance visual appeal based on needsTypography proficiencies in order to resolve font-related challenges, showcasing a deep knowledge of typography and kerning.Digital design specifically in creation of digital banners, both animated and static with a strong adaptability to work on a variety of digital platforms.Openly collaborate with the Production team to explore new programs and identify ways to enhance and streamline studio processes.Producing line art, logos, layout and ad development from assets supplied by the Creative Department.Ensure files are prepared properly including appropriate resolution, font requirements, color separation, etc.Actively participate in discussions on innovative approaches to creative projects.Working within a team environment to provide final files correctly and on time.Maintain consistent and accurate file preparation suitable for output to vendors.Reviewing proofs supplied by vendors to ensure the quality of the end product.Helping with the preparation of presentation materials as required.Preparing layout for and binding of proposals and reports as required.Creating proof-of-concept mockups as required.Skills & Qualifications : Minimum 5+ years experience as a Production Artist or in a similar role.Proficiency in InDesign, Photoshop, and Illustrator; familiarity with XD is a plus (experience with other Creative Cloud Applications an asset)Strong understanding of Out of Home specifications and resolutions.Web design, illustration, and production experienceAbility to determine the best method of execution within applications for projects (magazine, POS, print ads, digital ads etc).Experience in building digital banners, both animated and static.Excellent image retouching skills.Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple projects concurrently.Team player with effective communication skills.Master of problem-solving and troubleshooting font-related issues.Demonstrated ability to think ahead and contribute ideas for process improvement.Ability to think and act autonomously, and manage own work load.If you are a creative, organized, and collaborative individual with a passion for producing high-quality work, we invite you to apply for the Production Artist position.
