Reporting to the CEO, the Chief Technology Officer (CTO) will play a defining role in shaping the company’s product and technology vision. They will lead the development of Nexera’s perception roadmap, oversee software, hardware, and AI teams, and establish a culture of high performance and delivery. They will be responsible for ensuring that engineering processes, team structure, and product execution align with Nexera’s broader strategy, enabling the company to move from prototype deployments to full-scale industry adoption. Additionally, they will play a key role in market positioning, ensuring that Nexera’s technology remains competitive and adaptable to the evolving needs of the robotics and logistics industries.
The ideal candidate is a technology leader with experience scaling multidisciplinary teams in robotics, automation, or AI-driven industrial solutions. They bring a strong software and AI background, ideally within robotics, and have successfully navigated the complexities of integrating software-driven perception systems with hardware. They have led high-growth technical teams, either as a Director in a large enterprise or as a VP / CTO in a startup or scale-up. Experience in guiding a company toward product-market fit and scaling technical organizations in a rapidly evolving industry will be critical.
