Moomoo is one of the most trusted and innovative retail trading platforms, serving over 24 million active users worldwide. We offer an advanced, user-friendly trading platform for do-it-yourself traders, empowering them to take control of their financial futures.

Having launched in Canada just over a year ago, MFC has experienced significant growth and success. Based in Toronto, with convenient access to the city’s Line 1 TTC subway, our new office boasts bright, open spaces and spectacular views of the city. As we continue to scale, we are seeking to expand our team with a dynamic, growth-mindset Investment Representative.

At Moomoo Financial Canada Inc., we’re not just building a brokerage — we’re redefining how Canadians invest. As part of a global fintech leader, we equip investors with cutting-edge technology, market intelligence, and client experience that stands apart. Whether you’re new to investing or a seasoned trader, Moomoo offers the tools to trade smarter and grow faster.

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Product Manager to lead the design and evolution of brokerage clearing and settlement systems supporting the Canadian securities market. This role sits at the intersection of capital markets operations, financial infrastructure, and fintech product development.

The ideal candidate brings deep hands-on experience with brokerage back-office platforms, clearing workflows, and industry-standard post-trade systems, combined with the ability to collaborate closely with engineering teams and external financial institutions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Own product strategy and roadmap for brokerage clearing and settlement platforms in the Canadian market
  • Lead the design and enhancement of back-office brokerage systems, including trade lifecycle processing, reconciliation, settlement, and operational workflows
  • Work directly with banks, clearing agencies, and market infrastructures to support post-trade integrations and operational processes
  • Drive integrations with external entities such as custodians, clearinghouses, and settlement counterparties (e.g., CDS, DTCC, and banking partners)
  • Translate business and operational requirements into clear product specifications for engineering teams
  • Evaluate technical integration approaches and assess implementation cost, scalability, and operational impact
  • Collaborate with engineering teams throughout the fintech SDLC lifecycle, from requirements definition to production release
  • Improve operational efficiency, automation, and system resiliency across clearing and settlement processes

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher, preferably in a quantitative field such as Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or Finance
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in financial services, capital markets, or brokerage infrastructure
  • Proven hands-on experience designing or owning brokerage back-office or post-trade systems
  • Strong operational experience with industry-standard platforms such as Broadridge BPS or comparable brokerage processing systems
  • Experience working at or closely with financial regulators, SROs, or clearing and settlement organizations (e.g., CIRO/IIROC, OSC, CDS, DTCC)
  • Familiarity with Canadian regulatory frameworks governing brokerage operations and post-trade processing
  • Extensive experience supporting clearing and settlement workflows involving banks, CDS, DTCC, or equivalent market infrastructures
  • Solid understanding of fintech SDLC processes and cross-functional product delivery models
  • Working knowledge of technical integration concepts, including:
    • APIs and service-based integrations
    • FIX Protocol connectivity
    • Drop Copy mechanisms
    • Event-driven architectures (e.g., Apache Kafka)
  • Ability to evaluate technical trade-offs, implementation complexity, and business ROI
  • Strong communication skills with internal and external stakeholders

Preferred Qualifications

  • Relevant professional designations such as CSC, CPA, and/or CFA are considered a strong asset
  • Mandarin Chinese proficiency preferred; Cantonese is a strong plus
  • CSC, CPA, and/or CFA certificate is a plus

Benefits

What We Offer

  • Competitive salary, comprehensive benefits, and performance-based incentives
  • Opportunities for professional growth in a fast-growing fintech company
  • Beautiful office space in mid-town Toronto with stunning city views
  • Work in a company that’s a global leader in online brokerage and wealth management
