Job Description
The Team Lead Product Specialist will be responsible for coordinating a team of product analysts and catalog managers to ensure the accuracy and effectiveness of product-related data for e-commerce. This role involves setting up processes to maintain product data, quality control, and publications to the ERP and e-commerce website. The Team Lead will also be responsible for coaching and training team members, providing feedback, and helping them achieve their monthly KPIs. Additionally, the role includes conducting software research in AI to help scale the data enrichment process, utilizing a PIM system to store and maintain product master data, and using SQL, data storage, and queue to process data. The Team Lead will act as a subject matter expert, run analytics, and encourage Emco profit centers to use the e-commerce platform. They will also be in contact with stakeholders using the e-commerce platform and influence vendor partners on their digital change journey. This position will report to the Manager, Product and Data Management.
Key Responsibilities :
- Coach and train product analysts, providing feedback and reviewing their performance regularly.
- Be a subject matter expert in product knowledge (Plumbing, HVAC, Industrial and Waterworks) to help the team output the best product data possible.
- Prioritize work and help the team achieve monthly KPIs.
- Set up processes to maintain e-commerce product data, quality control, and publications to the ERP and e-commerce website.
- Deliver world-class customer service by responding to all customer, vendor, and management requests in a timely fashion.
- Create audit checklists to help the team correct product data issues.
- Ensure product information is accurate, up-to-date, and compliant with data standards.
- Create data standards to ensure the standardization of product data.
- Conduct software research in AI to help scale the data enrichment process.
- Utilize a PIM system to store and maintain product master data.
- Be in contact with stakeholders using the e-commerce platform.
- Act as a subject matter expert and run analytics to encourage profit centers to use the e-commerce platform.
- Review team processes and improve them to ensure efficiency and effectiveness.
- Transform strategic information from the Sales and Head-Office leadership team into tactical processes for the team to follow.
- Influence vendor partners on their digital change journey to acquire marketing data in a timely and repetitive fashion.
- Create and maintain processes and training documentation with the help of the team.
- Assess situations quickly and provide a course of action to best meet the needs of the team and the Profit Centre customers.
- Use SQL, data storage, and queue to process data within the PIM system.
- Review and analyze large amounts of information and draw informative conclusions and recommendations, covering areas such as product descriptions, attributes, SEO, and other data fields.

Salary Range :
This will depend on your experience : 75K-100K annually.
