The Human Resources Professionals Association (HRPA) is Ontario's regulatory association for human resources professionals, overseeing more than 24,000 members and students. Our mission is to protect the public interest by governing and regulating the professional practice of our registrants, ensuring they have the most up-to-date tools and advanced skills to lead workplaces into the future. We are seeking an innovative and strategic Director of Product to lead HRPA's product and learning strategy with a focus on driving revenue growth and enhancing member engagement. This role will lead the development and management of products and services that support the HR community. This leadership role is responsible for defining, crafting, and executing learning solutions, go-to-market strategies, and defining the white space opportunities for HRPA. Key Responsibilities : Strategic Product Leadership : Develop and implement a comprehensive product and learning strategy aligned with HRPA's mission and growth objectives. Oversee the entire product lifecycle, from ideation and development to launch, maintenance, and retirement of products. Conduct market research to identify emerging trends, needs, and opportunities within the HR industry to inform product innovation and enhancement. Go-to-Market (GTM) Strategy and Execution : Craft and lead effective GTM strategies for both new and existing products, collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure successful launches. Define clear value propositions and competitive positioning for each product, ensuring they resonate with target audiences. Monitor product performance in the market, adapting strategies as needed to optimize penetration and revenue growth. Revenue Growth and Optimization : Drive revenue growth by optimizing current product offerings and developing new, revenue-generating products. Set revenue targets and establish key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure product success. Leverage data analytics and member feedback to continually refine and enhance product offerings. Cross-Functional Collaboration : Work closely with departments to ensure cohesive product development and effective GTM strategies. Engage with external stakeholders, including vendors and members, to gather insights and foster collaborative partnerships that enhance product outcomes. Team Leadership and Development : Lead, mentor, and develop the product team, fostering a culture of innovation and inclusivity. Foster strong communication and collaboration within the team and across the organization to drive creative and innovative thinking and practices. Provide guidance on product design and development processes that prioritize member needs. Qualifications : . Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or a related field 10+ years of experience in end to end product management, product development, product marketing, or learning strategy. 5+ years in a leadership role, demonstrating the ability to lead and develop high-performing teams. Proven experience in developing and executing successful GTM strategies and driving product revenue growth. Extensive experience in creating product strategies, roadmaps, pricing, and product positioning. Strong strategic thinking and analytical skills, with the ability to translate market insights into actionable product strategies. Expertise in product management tools and data analytics to drive informed decision-making. Strong project management skills in the development and management of products and services. Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence decision-making. Creative thinker with a growth mindset, open to challenging the status quo.
