PhotoSat’s clients are Mining Engineers, Geologists, Geophysicists, Geotechs, Surveyors, Civil Engineers, engineering consulting firms, and Managers of Oil and Gas and Mining companies throughout the world.

Our technology sets our products and services apart, making them truly exceptional . There are many forms of surveying, however we are the only company producing satellite surveying. In short, we are competing against other technologies, not other companies.

Data Management role at a glance :

We are looking for a dynamic and proactive individual with strong leadership skills to fill this position. The ideal candidate is adaptable, decisive, and possesses a passion for fostering collaboration and achieving organizational objectives. They will work closely with the Production Team, Project Managers, and Account Executives to order satellite imagery from leading commercial satellite operators.

What you bring :

• Extensive Satellite Expertise : In-depth knowledge and hands-on experience working with data from modern Earth Observation Imaging Satellites, including a comprehensive understanding of their imaging capabilities and operational timelines.
• Experience using satellite data providers platforms : Maxar, Airbus, Planet, USGS, European space agency, Earth data etc.
• Knowledge on Coordinate Systems : Working knowledge of international coordinate systems, vertical datums, including custom local projections.
• Strong work ethic . You are organized and keep track of deadlines. You learn from each experience to perform better at the next one.
• Communication skills . You can write clear and concise emails to internal and external stakeholders. You are professional and friendly, and you can be assertive when required.
• Attention to detail. You are efficient with data entry. You send polished emails that contain accurate information.
• Desire to learn. You are interested in STEM topics and GIS. You like topics such as aerospace technology, geology, and engineering. You enjoy learning how to use new platforms and are a self-directed learner.
• Post-secondary education. An undergraduate degree required in GIS or other related fields.
