Your Impact

Develop and implement cost-effective procurement strategies for raw materials, cables, and other supplies tailored to the agriculture market. Negotiate contracts with suppliers to secure the best pricing, terms, and quality while ensuring alignment with PTx Trimble’s global procurement standards.

Supervise, train, and support a team of buyers to ensure alignment with organizational goals and AGCO’s strategic priorities. Manage performance metrics for the buying team with a focus on cost reduction, efficiency, and supplier quality improvement. Foster a culture of continuous improvement within the purchasing department.

Collaborate with suppliers to resolve shipping delays or quality issues proactively. Maintain accurate records of incoming shipments and inventory levels in compliance with PTx Trimble’s standards.

Oversee inventory control processes to prevent overstocking or stockouts while meeting production demands. Implement inventory management systems to track stock levels in real time.

Identify opportunities for savings through supplier consolidation, volume discounts, or renegotiated terms while maintaining high-quality standards for agricultural applications. Utilize procurement KPIs to measure cost-saving performance and identify inefficiencies. Prepare regular reports on procurement performance, including cost savings achieved. Maintain organized records of all purchasing activities for audit purposes.

Your Experience and Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, preferred.

Minimum of 3–5 years of experience in procurement or purchasing management within manufacturing; experience in the agriculture industry is highly desirable.

Excellent leadership and communication skills to manage cross-functional teams effectively.

Analytical mindset for data-driven decision-making in procurement strategies tailored to the agriculture market. Experience in the wire and cable manufacturing industry is a plus.
