• Job Description :
• Major Job Functions
• Trouble shoot, repair and maintain CAT equipment in a shop environment (experience with construction, quarry and / or export facility equipment is an asset)
• Respond to customer needs in a positive, supportive, and timely manner to ensure maximum value for work performed.
• Diagnose faults or malfunctions using computerized and other testing equipment to determine extent of repair required
• Providing support with reference to on-site safety requirements
• Maintain Finning Customer Service Commitment\
• Candidate selection will be in compliance with the terms of the current Collective Agreement\
• Specific Skills & Experience
• Interprovincial Journeyperson Heavy Equipment Certification
• Clean Drivers’ Abstract (5 yr)
• Strong experience in Electrical, Hydraulic and Emissions systems
• Engine and / or component rebuilding experience would be beneficial
• Transmission or Hydraulic testing experience
• Previous gas engine and power generation experience would be considered an asset
• Important Details :
• This role is based out of our Surrey Facility on a 5x2 (Monday to Friday) shift
• A condition of employment may include the ability to obtain Customer Site access (Drug & Alcohol, fitness testing) and wear a respirator where applicable
