Allied is looking for a Manager, Portfolio Operations to oversee and manage the performance of a portfolio of urban properties in Vancouver.
Portfolio Operations at Allied
Portfolio Operations at Allied integrates asset management and property management into one function, creating owners responsible for both the financial and operational performance of a collection of assets. Portfolio Operations combines strategic and financial overview with site‑specific operational insights to create value for all stakeholders.
Allied reimagined the way light industrial buildings could be used and pioneered the Class I asset class. So too, we endeavour to reinvent the asset management and property management functions, creating professional opportunities as distinct as the physical spaces we operate.
As owners, members of the Portfolio Operations team will achieve success through contributing to and delivering upon strategic asset plans and coordinating the activities of an inter‑disciplinary team supporting the portfolio.

What will you do?
- Engage and manage suppliers and contractors to ensure that all required services are being performed in accordance with service level agreements.
- Conduct property inspections in the context of reviewing and improving the asset plans and ensuring quality control.
- Liaise with internal experts and consultants on life safety and environmental matters.
- Oversee property administration and legal matters pertaining to portfolio.
- Liaise with external consultants to review and appeal property tax assessments.
- Support building intelligence initiatives within portfolio.
- Collaborate with Technical Services team on execution of preventative maintenance programme and day‑to‑day facilities management.
- Support Technical Services and Development teams in execution of repositioning projects, base building capital projects, energy retrofits, landlord’s work, and tenant leasehold improvements.
- Support Energy Management team in execution of sustainability plan to reduce energy and water consumption, carbon emissions, and maximise waste diversion within portfolio to achieve corporate ESG targets.
- Lead process for third‑party building certifications, if applicable.
- Ensure compliance with all national, provincial, and municipal legislation, regulations and codes, including health and safety, and environmental programmes.
- Support the Life Safety and Security team and, as appropriate, respond to after‑hours emergency calls by going to the site and taking the necessary actions required.
- Ensure compliance with management agreements, as required.
- Other duties as assigned.

What are we looking for?
Would be an asset :
$85,000 - $120,000 a year
Individual pay is determined by work location and other factors, including relevant experience, education / training and internal equity.
