Integrated StaffingNew Glasgow, NSJob Opportunity : Building Science Expert Location : Halifax preferred (Moncton, Fredericton, or Saint John considered) The Role : We are seeking a seasoned professional to lead and oversee design implementation with a focus on building science, particularly in the areas of roof and wall assemblies. This role is less structural and more concentrated on the building envelopes, ensuring architectural integrity and thermal performance. Your expertise in protective cladding, roofing insulation, and wind and water tightness will be critical. Key Responsibilities :
- Lead design implementation of building envelopes, focusing on roofs and walls.
- Develop specifications, solutions, and drawings for building assemblies, ensuring compliance with thermodynamic principles and heat transfer efficiency.
- Collaborate closely with architects and specifications teams, working at heights as required.
- Stamp drawings and ensure all designs meet Canadian building codes.
- Stay updated with the latest trends in green building practices.
