Role Description
RIMS Transport, located in Hamilton, ON is seeking a Full-Time Bulk Dispatcher to join our team. The Bulk Dispatcher will be responsible for dispatching, coordinating, and monitoring the safe and efficient transportation of bulk material. This is an on-site role that involves working in a team environment under pressure to ensure customer satisfaction.
Qualifications
- Excellent communication skills (both verbal and written) to interact with drivers, customers, freight coordinators, and management
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities to ensure timely and accurate delivery schedules
- Proficient in Microsoft Office suite, with experience in transportation management systems
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks and priorities
- Excellent knowledge of bulk material transportation safety standards, provincial regulations, and transportation industry requirements
- 2-3 years of previous dispatching experience in the transportation industry
- Familiarity with GPS / Navigation Systems
Knowledge of Hours of Service regulations would be an asset
Job Type : Full-time
Pay : $50,000.00-$55,000.00 per year
