RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Plan, coordinate, execute, and close projects using Project Management methodologies, communicating progress and impacts across departments and vendors.
  • Manage on-site contractors for maintenance and calibration activities.
  • Maintain CMMS records for equipment maintenance and calibration.
  • Author SOPs, validation protocols, and technical reports, ensuring compliance with GEP and GMP standards.
  • Follow SOPs, cGMP, and GLP regulations, maintaining accurate documentation.
  • Identify and implement continuous improvement opportunities related to facility and equipment management.
  • Conduct safety inspections and report findings to EHSS.
  • Support investigations, root cause analysis, and risk assessments.
  • Respond to facility emergencies, ensuring safety of personnel and property.

REQUIREMENTS

  • BSc in Chemical or Mechanical Engineering or related field.
  • At least 2 years of experience in a regulated industry, preferably pharma or medical devices.
  • Excellent English communication skills, both written and verbal, with a collaborative approach.
  • Knowledge of GAMP, GEP, ISPE guidance, and familiarity with FDA, ISO, EU, and Health Canada regulations, including cGMP, is preferred.
  • Knowledge of utility systems (HVAC, water, air compressors, boilers) is an asset.
  • CAD skills (AutoCAD preferred).
  • Experience in risk assessments, root cause analysis, and hazard analysis.
  • Knowledge of Quality by Design, Six Sigma methodologies.
  • Strong attention to safety and detail.
