Seeking long-term warehouse work with consistent physical activity? Join our dry-food mix production facility in SE Calgary as a Production Plant Labourer!
This ongoing temporary position (with permanent potential!) offers competitive pay at $19 / hr.
Your tasks will include :
Unloading bags of dry ingredients (e.g., flour) from pallets.
Removing completed bags of mix from machines.
Stacking finished bags onto pallets.
Shift : Rotational (mornings then evenings), Monday-Friday (occasional Saturday overtime). 7 : 00 AM start.
Requirements : Comfortable lifting up to 50lbs, physically active.
Eligibility : Must have legal authorization to work in Canada (Citizen, PR, or valid Work Permit). No LMIA / sponsorship provided.
Advantages
- Unloading bags of ingredients from pallets.
- Taking completed bags of dry-food mix from the machine, and stacking them on pallets
- Repetitively lifting 20 to 25kgs (44 to 55lbs).
- Standing, bending and lifting for the whole shift.
- General cleaning duties of working area to ensure strong food safety
