Job description

We are looking for PIPE WELDER to up fit the product piping on Emergency Response Vehicles / Fire Trucks. Applicants are to have experience in fitting and welding stainless steel pipes and Aluminum pipes with TIG and MIG

Duties and Responsibilities :

The following reflect the essential functions for this position but does not restrict the tasks that may be assigned based upon changing business conditions.

Weld pipes as needed to complete installation
Effective use of conventional and precision measuring instruments
Perform process inspection to assure quality welds
Perform basic maintenance on welding equipment
Install heat exchanger not already installed with value
Install master drain, primer control, pump shift, discharges, R&L rear and front bumper; bleeder and auto drains
Connect lines to gauge panel
Other duties as assigned

Required Skills :

Good attention to details

Punctual

Ability to demonstrate, creative, problem solving skills

Excellent measuring tape skills

Knowledge, experience and possession of small tools hand tools such as wrenches and impact drivers

TO BE A GOOD WELDER IN TIG AND MIG - welding test to be performed during interview

Ability to be self-motivated and self-directed

Monday to Friday 7am-4pm
