Job descriptionAssess patients with physical, cognitive or emotional challenges to determine their ability to perform daily activities. Design and implement individualized treatment plans to help patients regain independence in self-care, work, and leisure activities. Teach patients new techniques or recommend assistive devices to make everyday tasks easier. Suggest changes to home or workplace environments to improve safety and accessibility. Train patients and families on exercises, equipment, and coping strategies. University degree in Occupational Therapy Member of the Quebec Order of Occupational Therapists (OEQ) and Ontario College of Occupational Therapists (COTO), or eligible to register 1-2 years experience as an Occupational Therapist; preference for pediatric client experience Proficiency in English and French (strongly preferred) Strong communication and clinical reasoning skills Driver’s license and access to a vehicle
