We’re also looking at what’s next for you and how we can help you build a career you’re proud of. As a student at PCL, you will get the opportunity for challenging work assignments in a supportive work environment which promotes personal and professional growth.

We are seeking Multimedia Student for our Toronto District, within our Canadian Buildings Division that are available for 4 or 8 months starting September 2026.

As a Multimedia Student, you will have the opportunity to contribute to our team by:

  • Produces video and sound projects including concept development, researching, interviewing and collaborating with subject matter experts and marketing/communications staff to create engaging videos.
  • Facilitates script writing, video shooting and editing and utilizes technical video capture and finishing skills including audio leveling, color grading, compression and encoding while ensuring all materials are consistently guided by PCL corporate brand guidelines.
  • Aids in the development of production timelines, design mock-ups and pitches for creative concepts and conducts review processes to incorporate comments to create a strong product that serves the underlying goals of the production.
  • Transports, sets up and operates various production equipment including cameras, audio/video recorders, lighting equipment and microphones for production.
  • Supports business development through the creation of branded materials based on PCL’s visual identity (e.g., brochures, client presentations, conference materials, social media graphics etc.).
  • Supports coordination and execution of employee headshots and project photography assignments, in line with all site health and safety guidelines.
  • Manages tasks and priorities as part of a creative team working within project schedules and deadlines.
  • Develops and maintains strong customer-focused relationships with internal clients to develop branding solutions for products.

Qualifications

  • Currently enrolled in a multimedia, video/film studies, journalism, graphic design, marketing or related program in a post-secondary institution.
  • Ability to support marketing and communications through a suite of creative services including strong video creation, photography, photo and video editing and graphic design skills.
  • Superior skills in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, Premiere Pro) and other digital media.
  • Organized self-starter, with high attention to detail and the ability to multi-task.
  • Excellent computer, word processing, desktop publishing and researching skills.
  • Ability to develop and sustain positive working relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Understanding of social media and how to integrate it into the business process.
  • You are a creative and critical thinker who is efficient, enthusiastic and flexible.

Next Step:

  • Please note that candidates who have been selected to move forward to the next stage of the recruitment process will receive an email to complete a short online video interview.

The estimated hourly range for this role is $19.57- $28.69, based on your experience and qualifications. Final compensation will be confirmed as part of a personalized offer.
