Responsibilities
What does a successful Cook look like?
Experience
Previous experience working as a cook, line cook, or kitchen assistant in a restaurant environment preferred.
Experience preparing pizzas, pasta, and casual dining menu items is an asset.
Familiarity with fast-paced kitchen operations is beneficial.
Skills and Competencies
Ability to prepare and cook menu items according to standardized recipes and quality standards.
Knowledge of safe food handling and sanitation practices.
Ability to work efficiently under pressure during busy service periods.
Strong teamwork and communication skills.
Good time management and organizational skills.
Attention to detail to ensure food quality and presentation.
Physical Requirements
Ability to stand for extended periods.
Ability to lift up to 25–50 lbs (11–23 kg) when required.
Ability to work in a fast-paced and hot kitchen environment.
Certifications
Food Handler Certification.
Availability
Ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
