Job description

We're inspired by the vision of a world free of multiple sclerosis (MS). MS is a neurological disease of the central nervous system (brain, spinal cord) and Canada has one of the highest rates of MS in the world. People affected by MS are at the heart of our work and our mission is to connect and empower the MS community to create positive change. We connect the MS community to programs, information, research and to each other while they are on their MS journey. We collaborate with researchers, donors, partners, volunteers, people living with MS, caregivers, and health professionals to drive progress forward and make meaningful impact. Whether improving the lives of Canadians today or supporting groundbreaking research to end MS tomorrow, we work together as a community—and you can be a part of that.

Our team is looking to fill a current vacant position of Coordinator, Campaign. This is a full-time position working 35 hours per week anywhere in Canada. Please apply by March 16, 2026.

Discover. Innovate. Act

We are guided on the journey to end MS through discoveries, innovation, and collective action. This strategy connects the MS community through our common goal of a world free of MS. Together, we work to advance treatment and care, enhance well-being, understand, and halt disease progression and ultimately prevent MS.

To learn more about MS Canada, the impact we make, and what makes this a great place to work, we encourage you to visit www.mscanada.ca.

The impact you will have:

As the Coordinator, Campaign, you will be an essential driver behind the success of MS Canada’s bold organization-wide Comprehensive Campaign. Your role will directly support the activities of the Philanthropy team, senior leaders, and dedicated volunteers in their efforts to identify, cultivate, solicit, and steward campaign contributions. With your high-level administrative expertise, you will help ensure the smooth and efficient operation of all campaign-related activities, enabling MS Canada to engage and inspire key supporters at every stage of the giving process. Through your efforts, the Coordinator, Campaign will have a profound and lasting impact on MS Canada’s mission to fund groundbreaking research and provide critical services to those affected by multiple sclerosis. Your contributions will help shape the future of MS Canada’s philanthropic initiatives, leaving a lasting legacy in the fight against MS.

Requirements

Our ideal candidate:

The ideal candidate for the Coordinator, Campaign role will bring a blend of exceptional organizational skills, attention to detail, and a passion for supporting philanthropic work. You will have experience in administrative support, ideally within a fundraising or campaign environment, and a deep understanding of how to provide high-level assistance to major gift and legacy fundraising teams. Your proactive nature and ability to handle multiple priorities will ensure that the campaign operations run smoothly and efficiently, helping to achieve the goals of MS Canada’s comprehensive campaign.

Key to your success will be your ability to work collaboratively with senior leaders, volunteers, and other key constituents, ensuring clear communication and effective coordination. Experience in donor relations and a strong commitment to supporting the work of the Philanthropy team will set you apart as a valuable team member.

The ideal candidate for the Coordinator, Campaign holds:

  • Previous experience providing administrative support to fundraising or philanthropy teams, particularly in a major gift or legacy giving environment, is highly valued.
  • Familiarity with Salesforce or similar CRM software to track and manage donor data is considered an asset.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities and maintain meticulous attention to detail.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including experience drafting donor correspondence, proposals, and meeting materials.
  • Proven ability to coordinate logistics for meetings, events, and donor engagement activities, ensuring all details are managed efficiently.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with senior leadership, volunteers, and other team members to support fundraising objectives.
  • Experience in managing and updating donor databases, ensuring that donor information is accurate and up to date.
  • A passion for the mission of MS Canada and a commitment to supporting the fight against multiple sclerosis.

If you are an organized, proactive, and detail-oriented individual with a background in supporting fundraising teams, this is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in advancing MS Canada's critical work.
