Step into a pivotal role where you support pharmacists in providing top-notch dispensary and pharmacy services and help achieve Company initiatives. As a Pharmacy Technician you will receive direction from the pharmacist on duty and the Pharmacy Manager working towards the achievement of goals and objectives while adhering to both Company operating standards and Ontario College of Pharmacists standards of practice.

In this role you will be at the heart of our pharmacy operations ensuring smooth and efficient service delivery. Your contributions will be vital in maintaining high standards of patient care and pharmacy services. This is your chance to be part of a team that values innovation excellence and community care!

What Youll Do :

• Perform all aspects of the technical act of dispensing.
• Receive prescription refill requests and verbal prescriptions in accordance with all applicable laws and regulations.
• Provide customer assistance with merchandise on the sales floor and at the cash register.
• Complete the Recall Procedure for Pharmacy products.
• Establish and maintain patient profiles and scan and file patient records.
• Contact prescribers for various functions.
• Answer phones and check IVR voicemail messages.
• Check emails and respond accordingly.
• Perform inventory-related tasks.
• Enter and reconcile invoices / credits.
• Maintain Rx shrink logs to assist in inventory management.
• Utilize wholesaler websites for various functions.
• Assist with dispensary paperwork as directed.
• Perform all acts under the expanded scope of pharmacy practice.
• Maintain store standards and conditions.

Qualifications :

Key Relationships :

As a Pharmacy Technician you will receive guidance from the Pharmacy Manager Staff Pharmacist and the Pharmacist on duty. You will engage with internal teams such as Pharmacy Operations Pharmacy Services Pharmacy Merchandising Inventory Control and Audit Store Services McMahon and Metro IT. Additionally you will interact with external contacts including direct pharmacy vendors like McMahon and Kroll Canada.
