Job description :
The main responsibilities of the Operations Supervisor - Pharmacy are to plan and supervise production in the non-sterile and sterile pharmaceutical laboratory.
We're looking for a leader who can bring people together, who is results-oriented while maintaining a very high level of quality, who questions processes in order to improve them, who is very close to the floor, very comfortable with planning and computer systems, and who can quickly change course according to unforeseen circumstances.

KEY ACTIVITIES :
Activities must be performed in compliance with policies, procedures, regulations, laws and standards of regulatory agencies.
THE SUPERVISOR WILL :
- Plan, assign and supervise all sterile and non-sterile laboratory production (including reservations of production rooms, equipment and requests for external analysis).
- Ensure on-time delivery of orders
- Plan team work schedules
- Prepare sterile preparation batch sheets (epidurals, PCA syringes and bags, methacholine)
- Manage team requests and problem situations
- Manage staff absences and authorize timesheets
- Coordinate staff training
- Coordinate annual and semi-annual appraisals of ATPs and attendants with assistant supervisors
- Monitor and update procedures and work instructions
- Manage non-conformities
- Monitor records
- Suggest measures to improve productivity and product quality
- Report any deviations from current standards to pharmacists and the Quality Department
- Recruit ATPs and attendants
