Job description

Sales of residential and commercial access control systems/automated gate operators & accessories.
Sales of Fence Products alongside our parent company sales team.
Expand customer base; call potential clients to generate potential business opportunities.
Respond to Client Inquiries.
Provide quotes for clients.
Perform site visits, both residential and commercial; and assess needs of clients.
Collection of projects once completed.
Promote product lines; maintain and continue to develop product knowledge within the company’s industrial and residential lines.
Attend industry tradeshows and seminars related to access control systems/automated gate operators as required.
Stay current in knowledge of access control systems product features, legislations and regulations.
Handle purchasing & manage vendor relations alongside senior management.
Oversee inventory control & management alongside senior management.
Other sales and operations-related duties.

REQUIREMENTS:

Automation experience is required for this position.
Minimum of 3 – 5 years Experience doing outside sales or Operations Management – experience in selling access control systems and/or automated gate operators is required.
Background in Mechanical Engineering or related is an asset.
Excellent relationship building ability.
Track record of sales success and demonstrated excellence in customer service.
Excellent communication skills (strong phone etiquette and face to face service.
Motivated, collaborative, results-oriented, competitive and customer-focused.
Strong presentation, interpersonal and customer service skills.
Must be team focused and work closely with managers and other internal departments.
Must hold and maintain a current and valid Ontario Driver’s License.
Must have a clean criminal record and be able to successfully pass a security background check.
