Job Description
Our client in Cambridge is looking for a Payroll Specialist to join their team in a full-time permanent position!
This opportunity is ideal for detail-oriented professionals who thrive in structured environments and take pride in delivering accurate, timely work. If you enjoy juggling multiple priorities, have a knack for numbers, and are comfortable navigating HR and payroll systems, this could be a great fit.
As the Payroll Specialist, you will be compensated $55-$60K, commensurate with experience, plus a comprehensive benefits package!
Required Skills :
- 3-5 years of prior experience processing hourly payroll in a mid-to-large size organization
- University or College education in Accounting or Payroll is required
- PCP - Payroll Certification is an ASSET
- Experience with payroll in a manufacturing environment is an ASSET
- Familiarity with payroll and HR software systems
- High level of accuracy in data entry and reporting
- Professional discretion with sensitive employee information
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Word
- Ability to be resourceful and proactive when issues arise.
- Strong communication skills are essential for this role.
- Able to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
