We’re looking for a Payroll Administrator to join our team in High Level, Alberta or Vernon, British Columbia . We are dedicated to supporting our operations and delivering exceptional payroll and benefits services for all employees.
Our ideal candidate has the following qualifications :
- Minimum three years of related experience (or equivalent education / experience) in full-cycle payroll and benefits administration , ideally in a unionized environment.
- Demonstrated experience with UKG Pro and Workforce Management systems.
- Working knowledge of benefits administration, labour legislation, WCB, and CRA requirements .
- PCP designation (or in progress) with the Canadian Payroll Association; CEBS certification is an asset.
- Strong analytical and accounting skills , including payroll-related journal entries and reconciliations .
- Exceptional attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to meet critical deadlines.
- Effective communication and service-oriented mindset, fostering positive relationships across all levels.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel ; familiarity with Word and Outlook.
