Adecco is currently hiring a full-time highly skilled Manager of Payroll Processes to oversee and optimize payroll operations. This role requires a strategic thinker with a deep understanding of payroll systems, compliance, and process improvement. You will lead a team of professionals and collaborate across departments to ensure accurate, timely, and compliant payroll delivery while driving efficiency and innovation in payroll processes.

Responsibilities :
Oversee end-to-end payroll processing to ensure accuracy and compliance with applicable regulations and policies.
Develop, implement, and maintain payroll best practices to improve efficiency and accuracy.
Supervise the preparation and distribution of payroll for all employees, including handling exceptions and resolving discrepancies.
Analyze current payroll processes, identify areas for improvement, and implement streamlined solutions.
Collaborate with HR, finance, and IT to integrate payroll systems with other business tools for seamless data flow and reporting.
Ensure payroll processes align with industry best practices and leverage technology for automation.
Stay up-to-date on federal, provincial, and local payroll laws and regulations to ensure full compliance.
Manage tax filings, audits, and compliance reporting, addressing any payroll-related regulatory issues.
Generate detailed payroll reports and insights for leadership to support decision-making.
Lead, mentor, and develop the payroll team, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture.
Partner with HR to manage employee compensation changes, benefits, and related payroll adjustments.
Oversee the management and maintenance of payroll software and systems.
Liaise with external payroll providers and software vendors to ensure optimal performance and service.
Coordinate system upgrades, enhancements, and troubleshooting with IT teams as needed.
Qualifications :
Mu st be legally eligible to work, and reside in Canada
Bachelor's degree in accounting, Business Administration, Human Resources, or a related field.
10 years of Payroll experience with international operations and inter provincial processes.
Certified Payroll Professional (CPP) or equivalent designation preferred.
Strong knowledge of payroll laws, regulations, and compliance requirements.
Proficiency in payroll software (e.g., ADP, Ceridian) and advanced Excel skills.
Excellent organizational and analytical skills, with a high attention to detail.
Proven leadership and team management experience.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively across departments.
Experience in process improvement and implementing new payroll technologies is a plus.
Bilingual in French considered an asset.
