Our Catholic homeschooling family located in DeWinton, Alberta is we are seeking a warm, dependable, and organized family assistant to join our family beginning in September. We are looking for help approximately 4 days per week, with flexibility for either part-time or full-time hours. The primary focus of this position is meal preparation and kitchen management along with childcare support for our younger children. I am a stay-at-home homeschooling mother, so I am often home and actively involved with the children, but I am away from the house several afternoons each week for business and family commitments, (typically 2-3 afternoons/week). Primary responsibilities include: * Cooking and kitchen management (preparing most family meals for the week) (Note: Meal preparation and childcare responsibilities are scheduled separately, allowing you to focus on one task at a time) * Caring for our two preschool-aged children (ages 2 and 4) * Engaging our 4-year-old in kindergarten readiness activities, crafts, reading, and educational play * Occasionally supervising and caring for four well-behaved children (ages 2, 4, 7, 9) when I am out of the home. * Light housekeeping and house management activities related to the children and family routines.
