Job Type : Full-Time, Permanent, On-site
Salary Range : $85,000 to $95,000
Role Overview :
Speech-language pathologists diagnose, assess, and treat human communication disorders, including speech, fluency, language, voice, and swallowing disorders. They are committed to improving patient health and well-being in a multidisciplinary environment.
Key Responsibilities :
Diagnose and evaluate speech, voice, resonance, language, fluency, cognitive-linguistic, and swallowing disorders through tests, examinations, and observations.
Develop and implement remedial programs to correct various disorders.
Collaborate in interdisciplinary teams to establish personalized care plans.
Educate and counsel patients and their families on communication and swallowing disorders.
Conduct research on communication disorders and diagnostic procedures.
Supervise and instruct communicative disorders assistants, students, and other healthcare personnel.
Qualifications :
Certified by the College of Audiology and Speech-Language Pathology of Ontario (CASLPO) and in good standing.
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
A commitment to ongoing medical education.
Proficient in managing diverse health issues across all age groups.
