Employment Period : Monday, May 5, 2025 up to Friday, August 29, 2025 (with the option to work part-time between April 14 and November 7, 2025, before and after the employment period, based on operational needs).
Hours of Work : Monday to Friday 7 : 00 am - 3 : 30 pm with occasional weekend shifts, as required.

Duties and Responsibilities
- City-wide maintenance and monitoring of restoration / naturalization sites;
- Support City staff to manage volunteers on restoration and tree planting projects in cooperation with partner groups, ensuring the health and safety of the participants;
- Perform data entry and quality control of natural areas program data;
- Assist in the preparation of reports and mapping related to restoration, naturalization and invasive species control;
- Assist with the administration of various Forestry-related contracts;
- Watering of young trees in City parklands;
- Visit sites and conduct inspections to collect and analyse data;
- Implementation of manual control methods for invasive species including digging and pulling invasive plants;
- Operate small tools and landscaping equipment;
- Other duties as assigned.
