Job Title : Paint Blaster II
Job Summary
The Painter Blaster II role is responsible for painting parts for the painting of various parts for agricultural machinery.
Responsibility
- Ability to blast and paint all Salford frames and products evenly as per Salford’s quality standards.
- Ability to train other / new employees on proper painting / blasting procedures, including equipment.
- Ensure quality standards are met with all products leaving the paint line.
- Ability to load and unload frames.
- Maintain detailed records pertaining to projects including; mil readings, paint consumption, and ambient environment readings.
- Follow all health and safety procedures as outlined in the hourly employee handbook and departmental safety procedures.
- Clean and maintain painting, ventilation, blast equipment and personal protective equipment.
- Effective Identification and troubleshooting of minor paint and blast issues, including equipment (. pumps).
- Take direction from the assembly & paint supervisor as needed for specific products or projects.
- Assist with the powder coat line when required.
