Your New Role
As the Packaging and Business Unit Manager, you will oversee packaging operations and lead a team of employees across various trades (supervisors, technicians, operators) to achieve the objectives of your business unit. You will implement strategic performance and cost optimization initiatives, guide your team in problem analysis to reduce machine faults and changeover times, and ensure compliance with safety, hygiene, and quality standards. You will also be responsible for training and developing your team, managing the maintenance budget, enhancing the health and safety culture, and improving quality processes.
What You Need to Succeed in This Role
- Education : Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Operations Management, or a related field.
- Experience : Minimum of 5 years in packaging and business unit management, preferably in the food and beverage industry.
- Skills : Strong leadership and team management skills, excellent problem-solving abilities, and proficiency in packaging machinery and software.
- Knowledge : In-depth understanding of packaging processes, quality control standards, and safety regulations.
- Attributes : Detail-oriented, proactive, and able to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.

Votre nouveau rôle
En tant que gestionnaire de l’unité d’emballage et d’affaires, vous superviserez les opérations d’emballage et dirigerez une équipe d’employés de divers métiers (superviseurs, techniciens, opérateurs) pour atteindre les objectifs de votre unité d’affaires. Vous mettrez en œuvre des initiatives stratégiques de performance et d’optimisation des coûts, guiderez votre équipe dans l’analyse des problèmes pour réduire les pannes de machines et les temps de changement, et veillerez au respect des normes de sécurité, d’hygiène et de qualité. Vous serez également responsable de la formation et du développement de votre équipe, de la gestion du budget de maintenance, de l’amélioration de la culture de santé et de sécurité, et de l’amélioration des processus de qualité.
