Understand and respect economic, cultural, religious, racial, and gender diversity to provide inclusive and sensitive care to clients from various backgrounds. Proficiency with computer and phone applications Experience in performing advanced, comprehensive health assessments in person or over a telemedicine platform Physical ability to stand, bend, walk, crouch, kneel and reach, ability to lift 50lbs (23 kg) Ability to interact with others in a caring, tactful and courteous manner Excellent problem solving, time management, and crisis resolution skills Exceptional customer service and ability to build a therapeutic relationship with the client Have one of the following qualifications : Valid Personal Support Worker Certificate from a Ministry of Training, Colleges, and Universities or the Ministry of Education approved program RN / RPN, Paramedic, Occupational Therapy and Physiotherapy student with a minimum successful completion of year one of the program Holds a valid certificate as a Home Support Worker (level II or III), Health Care Aide, or Personal Attendant Holds a valid certificate as a Developmental Support Worker Internationally licensed Nurse, Midwife or Physician Valid Standard First Aid and Level C CPR Updated immunization records (including completion of a two-step tuberculosis test within the last 6 months) Clear criminal background check, and Vulnerable sector check are required upon hire Valid G2 / G driver's license and access to a reliable car. Candidates without a vehicle will not be considered. Vulnerable Sector Check completed within the last six months Submission of proof of three COVID vaccinations TB test completed within 6 months to a year Immunization record Up-to-date CPR and First Aid certification
