Base pay range

CA$100,000.00 / yr - CA$125,000.00 / yr

Our client is a growing manufacturing company specializing in material handling equipment such as mini-cranes, compact bulldozers, elevators, and other lifting solutions designed for various industrial sectors. Our growing client is looking to strengthen its presence in the mining sector. The Business Development Rep will be responsible for increasing the company's sales in the mining sector by developing business relationships with customers, resellers, manufacturing agents, and various partners.

Territory : North and South America and Europe occasionally

Workplace : Home Office (occasional presence at head office)

Commissions / Bonus : $50,000 the first year (uncapped commissions)

Car allowance : Any expense related to business travel will be reimbursed.

• Full benefits package including Dental paid 50% by the employer

Functions :

Requirements :

Development vs Maintenance : 90% vs 10%

Road vs Office : 30% vs 70% (home office)

Languages : Excellent written and spoken English, Spanish is an asset

Education : Engineering or other technical training

Training : Full training provided at head office

Overnight Travel : 30%–40% travel with overnight stays. (approximately 1 week per month)

Years of experience : Between 10 and 15 years of experience in international business development

Other requirements :

Transferable contacts : Contacts within the material handling equipment industry internationally are a major asset.

In-depth knowledge of the mining sector

Transferable Knowledge : Experience and knowledge in setting up distributors are a major asset.
