RESPONSABILITIE
As a Technical Leader - Operational technologies (OT),
your primary mandate will be to design, document, and recommend industrial Ethernet network architectures and industrial IT infrastructures tailored to customer needs. More precisely, you will have to :
- Participate in defining technical solutions and play an integral role in project implementation;
- Participate in the drafting of preliminary or functional analyses;
- Design, develop, and build Ethernet-based industrial network architectures;
- Design and develop cybersecurity requirements in accordance with critical infrastructure standards;
- Design, build, and develop server infrastructure and virtualized environments;
- Participate in the technical resources development plan;
- Participate in meetings with clients in order to understand their needs and offer them practical and advantageous solutions;
- Participate in selection meetings, development, cost assessment, and drafting of the functional description of the solution;
- Participate in the development and drafting of the tender;
- Develop good relationships with customers and suppliers during the bidding process;
- Prepare presentations, contribute to proposals and various sales tools with a view to tangibly developing business opportunities;
- Communicate clearly with our customers and suppliers;
- Answering customer calls and questions;
- Monitor technological developments to meet the strategic needs of the company;
- Configure the various selected equipment;
- Perform configuration validation and quality assurance tests;
- Commissioning the architecture and infrastructure at the customer's site;
Perform all other related duties.
REQUIREMENTS
ACADEMIC
Hold a bachelor's degree in computer engineering, electrical engineering, automated production, or any other relevant field.
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE
Be a member of the Ordre des ingénieurs du Québec (Quebec Order of Engineers).
OTHER
Hold a valid driver's license.
REQUIRED SKILLS
Manage diligently priorities and commit to meeting deadlines.
