Job description

What you’ll do :

  • Fill, check and pack orders using a pallet jack and headset system throughout the warehouse, selecting items from floor stock to assemble on pallets, to then be transported to local Co-ops.
  • May work in the freezer in below zero temperatures (PPE and premium pay provided).
  • Follow safety procedures and PPE requirements.
  • Perform repetitive physical work including bending, lifting, and reaching.
  • Perform housekeeping duties to maintain a clean shipping and receiving area.
  • Shifts :   Weekend-day shifts : Saturday, Sunday : 10 : 00am – 6 : 30pm Weekday-day shifts : Monday - Wednesday : 3 : 00pm – 11 : 30pm Night shifts : Sunday – Thursday : 9 : 00pm – 5 : 30am
  • Must be available to complete a full week of training (., Monday - Friday from 8 : 00am - 4 : 00pm)
  • Must work a minimum of 24 hours / week but preferably be available to work 40 hours / week.

Who you’ll work with :

You will work closely with other warehouse professionals and will report into the Supervisor Warehouse Operations. This team strives to cultivate a culture of collaboration, community, and efficiency.

We help supply high-quality grocery items across all departments and home and building supplies to local Co-op locations, independent retail stores, restaurants and other food establishments in communities large and small.

Who you are :

You are looking for a career in Supply Chain and :

  • Have verbal communication skills, and you are comfortable using a headset.
  • Are able to work in the freezer when required.
  • Are able to physically lift up to 50 lbs. repetitively.
  • Are able to perform shift work potentially including evenings and weekends.
  • Believe in collaboration, building relationships and value the perspectives of others.
