Location : Shannen Koostachin Centre, 110 Bellagio Ave, Hannon, ON L0R 1P0
Total Hours per Week : 15 hours
Schedule : Monday to Friday, 7 : 00 am - 10 : 00 am
Pay Rate (per Collective Agreement, includes wage grants) : $23.79 per hour
About the Role
As a Teacher’s Assistant, you are a key support to the classroom, the children, and the centre. Your flexibility, care, and teamwork help maintain a positive, organized, and safe environment for all. Duties vary from centre to centre, but your contributions will always make a meaningful impact.
Qualifications
- Demonstrated awareness of working with children
- Experience and ability to effectively interact with children requiring behavioural guidance
- Excellent problem-solving, interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills
- Ability to work as part of a team and follow direction from supervisors
- Flexibility and adaptability to support various duties and changing needs
- Passion for nurturing children and supporting their growth
- Knowledge of How Does Learning Happen? and the ability to apply it in practice
